My Galaxy watch is only a year old and the display went blank a month back, got it replaced paying 5800 rs and now my watch does not count steps and track heart rate, tried rebooting, and tried all the tips given in the following link - https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01003204/
Visited a Service center and was told the sensor comes along with the motherboard and it has to be replaced and the cost if 7800/- rs
Is this true ? is there any other way that i can get my watch fixed. Its very disappointing and depressing to spend close to 14k in matter of just one year.
Unfortunately the warranty cannot be used as the watch was brought in the US. Wonder why is the warranty not applicable for US products in India... the name 'SAMSUNG" is same in the US and India !!!
Appreciate a solution to fix the watch
Thank you for raeching out. I am sorry to hear about the symptoms you are experiencing with your sensor. I would be happy to get you set up for service, but you would be responsible for the cost of shipping the device to the US and we would need a US address to return the device to upon completion of the repair.
If you wish to proceed can you please provide me with your full model number and serial number/IMEI in a private message: https://bit.ly/3fbRevo
