Samsung STEPS default is at 6000 steps.  Go to Samsung health app on the phone,  go into  STEPS by tapping on STEPS section.  At the upper right, there are 3 vertical dots, tap on it and go into SET TARGET.  You can set steps target based on your current health.  Once you are recovering from injury, you can increase your target steps accordingly.

I'm sorry you are injured.

I don't understand your question. Can you elaborate, please?

What is the best way to adjust goals or have it not count against me or a way to explain why I'm not hitting my goals?
