How do I stop Samsung Health and Samsung Health Monitor from running in the background?

Hi,

I never use Samsung Health and Samsung Health Monitor. I disabled their features as much as the setting allowed me. However, they are still tracking, and this is exactly what I don't want. I noticed that they both have the option to allow background activity. But... Surprise, surprise!... It seems like it's on by default. I cannot uncheck that. The button looks slightly greyed out. How do I stop this background activity? 

Or, even better, how can I completely remove these apps?

In the settings app click disable on them

I don't have the disable option. Only force stop.

Those apps are essential for the functionality of your watch and cannot be turned off, disabled or uninstalled.
