So was playing with my watches settings app and discovered you have to go down to this under apps then tell the galaxy store apps to update. I've opened the store via the watch app before and was never prompted though this opens the play store so just thought I'd pass it along. Super odd this isn't enabled by default or as a prompt or anything
Edit: screen shot hasn't went to my phone yet but it's under settings, apps, then scroll down to galaxy store apps to enable them to update
