Okay folks, writing this in a big hope to get a solution. Here is my issue:
So I bought Samsung Galaxy Watch to use with an iPhone. Like any smartwatch I was hoping that it will connect with my phone and will provide updates and I can check weather and other stuff which basically uses internet via phone.
But - here is the problem - watch connects to the phone fine, watch sycns contacts fine, displays notifications from the phone fine, but when I want the weather app to refresh the weather it asks for wifi connection as there is no internet available.
This has been annoying lately. I have reset the watch twice. Delete the Galaxy Watch app and resintalled.
There are 2 Bluetooth connections showing for watch. 09CC and 09CC LE. Both are connected.
Not sure what else I can do to make it work.
Not sure if there is any option in the watch which needs activation or settings in the Galaxy Watch app?
Your time is much appreciated.
Thank you for reaching out. When you pull down from the top of the watch to the quick settings does it say connected using Bluetooth?
Give this link a try to verify compatibility: https://www.samsung.com/global/galaxy/galaxy-watch/device-compatibility/
Device is compatible (I guess). I have an iPhone 7 Plus.
(I understand that it is not a fully compatible to the device but hey, this is just a tiny weather app which asks for network connection everytime)
