Stay away from the latest Galaxy Watch Ultra 7 update. The update disables AOD during exercise activity resulting in a five second delay before raise to wake works. Also, entering your pin to unlock requires an additional step. Why was this necessary Samsung? Why not fully disclose changes in the release notes instead of improve stability?? This is so annoying.

I just posted a similar thread asking for feedback from Samsung on their plan to address these issues. I really would like to see some responses to this from actual Samsung employees.

I talked with support and their answer was to wait for the next update. It is definitely a bug as the AOD setting is enabled within the workout settings.

So, my ULTRA and AOD was working perfectly fine. Samsung forced me this update only to break a basic feature for, as they call, their ULTRA *sports* watch. If this, wait for next update (months from now), is true. I'm to Garmin. Pathetic.

For what it's worth, a ticket with Samsung support has  been opened, ticket number 266524125.

Won't wake up. GPS isn't working right. And to top it off HR is wonky now too. Worst update ever Samsung!ZiKqircaEm.jpg

It's incredibly frustrating!
It's **bleep** near impossible now to do EMOM workouts with this BS.

Did anyone else notice that the step counter also seems off after the new update?

I'm getting more steps than usual, and I typically do the same workouts 6 times weekly. My steps have increased by about 2K per day on average.
