Galaxy Watch
I currently own a galaxy watch6 classic. Right now, the phone I currently own does not connect to it. The model I own has wifi, Bluetooth, and LTE connection. Iperformed a factory reset hoping that it would fix the issue of not connecting. Unfortunately, that did not help at all, and i cannot gain average to my Samsung or Google account. What I'm wondering is why Samsung did not make it where you can log into your account as long as you have some form of internet access through the watch, but only offers sign in if you're connected to a phone. To me, it defeats the purpose of having a wearable that can work independently without being connected to a phone for making phone calls, sending text messages, or using the internet. I'm hoping a software update can remedy this, but it's wait and see I guess.

Even LTE versions must first be paired with a phone in order to work independently. They are not made to work as completely standalone devices. I don't believe any smart watch is. Is the phone you are attempting to pair it with a Samsung phone?

Yes, and after a factory reset, it still receives phone calls and text messages independently. I feel a software change is possible. If every other Samsung product can be set up by being connected to wifi, why shouldn't the smart watches also have that capability.
