On my s8 I can control samsung music functions ( raise and lower volume, change music tracks...ect ) from my Samsung Galaxy watch. Now when I open the app on my watch it doesn't seem to connect to the samsung music app.

Just to double check, have you updated the watch, phone and wearables app recently?

Lol!! The minute I open the wearable app there was an update, that was the issue watch now controls the functions in the Samsung Music app. Thx!!

I'm having the same issue.  My phone and watch are both up to date and I'm still unable to control my music on my phone, with my watch.

I had that issue, but after I unpaired it. Then repaired it. It worked perfectly. Just make sure you back up watch prior to unpair...
