Galaxy WatchMy Gear S3 Frontier. My dear watch that is with me through thick and thin.
😞
I put it on the charger and came back a few minutes later to see a solid green/yellow screen.
I took it off the charger and it went dark and would not come back on. I forced it to power off and it disconnected from my phone. Powered it back up and it reconnected to my phone but the screen would not turn on. Finally after a few minutes the screen came on but was flickering and looked too bright. Then it went dark would not come on again. It seems the watch is working but the display has died. Is there anything I can do to fix it?
Thanks

Thank you for reaching out. I can certainly understand your concern with your screen turning green, then not powering back on. Normally, the next step in this process would be to send your device in for repair.
Regretfully based on the date of production the device has reached end of life status. This means that any repairs would be beyond economical repair, and it is recommended to seek other options with your retailer or carrier.
You can also check out the newest watch in our line being the Galaxy watch 4, if you are wishing to upgrade. Give this link a try to see the newest watch with the upgraded OS and new features: https://www.samsung.com/us/watches/galaxy-watch4/buy/?modelCode=SM-R860NZSAXAA

Galaxy WatchAh well, it seems it is dying now, the screen barely even turns on at all now and it is out of warranty. I can take it to a repair place but the cost will be about the same as a replacement so I will have to weigh getting a different watch now. 😕

Galaxy WatchUnfortunately, it seems there is no fix. It might need a replacement screen. I don't know if it was defective or what. I always good very good care of it and it never showed any sign of issue until one day the screen just freaked out.
I ended up replacing mine with a Fossil Wear OS watch and it is quite good.

Galaxy Watch
The same thing happened to me as well on my S3 Frontier!! Good question for Samsung? What is the fix? If you hold down the main power button long enough seems phone reboots and works OK for an uncertain amount of time. Happened the first time months ago, 2 or 3 times in a row, then was good for months. Today did it twice again. Had a Samsung Gear 2, the battery swelled up and broke that one apart. Now having this screen problem with the S3. No solutions forth coming. What I can say in all honesty, when this one fully packs it in, Samsung wearables will be off my list. Too much money for unreliable product!

Galaxy WatchThere is no fix, I had to replace my watch. A repair would cost about the same as a replacement so there was no point.
