I own both the Watch 8 and Watch 7.
I have not updated the Watch 7 to Wear OS 6 because of the disadvantages it brings.
1. The tiles for the Watch interface make all the print and the icons smaller making the Watch feel smaller.
2. Notifications are delayed but randomly. Example a text message will hit my phone and I'll grab my phone and respond. Then after minutes or hours I will recieve that text on my Watch like I just got it. I never had this problem with the Watch 7.
The last thing has nothing to do with the update but just something that is frustrating. The band specific for Samsung making my years of band collections from Samsung.com worth nothing. An adapter for the Samsung curved bands would have been appreciated to make them still useful. The adapters online do not work since they are not straight bands.
Simply please bring the tiles back with a software update. I have intentionally not updated to avoid the inferior look. Thank you Samsung. Still a fan and I like when you try new stuff. Just add that if we only use one tile per app tile that it reverts back to the old look. Thats all im saying. Best of both worlds.
Wear OS 5 - easy to quickly see what I need and keep going. Isn't that the point of a smartwatch?
Wear OS 6 - it is still that small even if you remove all the other apps from that tile.
