Rash/Burn After Wearing Galaxy Watch Active 2

JUMP TO SOLUTION

I recently purchased a Galaxy Watch Active 2 and after a few days of wear, I was pretty alarmed to see what appears to be a rash or burn under the spot where the watch was sensor was. The skin actually blistered then started to crack and peel. I haven't put the watch back on since and came here to find an answer, but there doesn't appear to be one. I see lots of posts about the issue but no solutions--only requests to send information about the watch in a private message. Does anyone know what's happening or why?

Did you ever get a solution to this? I seem to be experiencing the same problem. I've warn smart watches constantly for the last 4 years and never had this issue until I purchased the Galaxy Watch Active 2. I'm extremely disappointed because I love the watch but I can't wear it without developing rash/burn looking patches that are extremely dry and itchy.
