Rash from Galaxy Active2

I have had the Gear Fit2 Watch for a couple years and had occasional irriation from generally sensitive skin and living in dry weather. I would alternate wrists and it never lasted or prolonged

I Received the Galaxy Active2 a week ago (Thursday 1/9) and within days had irritation on R wrist where I typically wear it. I moved it to the L wrist to give it a break and 2 days later had irriation. Yesterday I moved back to L wrist and it is more inflamed than I ever saw with Fit2.

I see other topics started with mod private messages, can someone please assist me?

I wish I could help, but the same thing happens to me too. It takes days for it to clear up and I can wear a watch on my right hand.

After 1 night of tracking sleepAfter 1 night of tracking sleep

Have had a fitbit for 3yrs and always wore in bed to track my sleep. Wore my active 2 1 night and its irritated my skin. I love the watch and love tracking my sleep as I'm a nurse and don't get much. Need a solution to my problem as can't take it back due to COVID-19  and stores closed

Re: Rash from Galaxy Active2

Hi @user0tYatLL3fp. The pandemic has restricted operations at most non-essential businesses. If the store you bought the watch from has an online site contact support, and request a return label. If not that, see if they'll extend the exchange window.

If my reply has aided your issue please consider liking it. If the problem is solved you may pick it as a solution.

Re: Rash from Galaxy Active2

I too had the same rash I believed it's due to a combination of moisture and bacterial kept within the wristband. For the first 2 years of owning a watch I didn't have this issue until recently I started wash dishes at my culinary school i noticed the rash. I thought it was just the Samsung watch but then I changed watches and the rash still occurred. So my solution was to not was anything with my watch on and the rash went alway.
