My Galaxy watch will not fully charge and is overheating. It gets to a certain point in recharging, then it says it's overheating and it shuts down. Before this happened, I noticed the battery had drained rather quickly. I'm unable to use this watch now.

Several other users have indicated a similar problem to what I'm encountering with my Galaxy watch, which likely means there is some sort of manufacturing defect.

I understand how concerning this is and would be happy to assist you further. Whether you're using a phone, tablet, smartwatch, or earbuds, all Galaxy devices have a set temperature range, where they operate at their best. While they may feel warm under certain conditions, like charging, this does not affect the device's lifespan or performance. However, if your devices get too warm, it could cause some issues. On the S21 Ultra, I just found out you HAVE to use the right charger (specifically for the phone) with the correct voltage for it to charge properly. If not you can burn out the phone. 50.00 later....it is true. My phone is charging as expected!
