Recently i purchased samsung active 2 watch lte version. As and when i started using and paired with my phone i.e honor 9i it connected successfully but after some time it get disconnected automatically and get connected back within 10-15 seconds. This happen about 10-20 times a day getting disconnecting and connecting back which annoys me alot. I don't know whether the product is defective or there is software issue. If it is related to software then hope samsung will release update soon to correct this, as this smart watch supposed to be compatible with all devices meeting its minimum requirement and improve the samsung active 2 plugin too.
Otherwise guys get ready to send this watch back to stores if there is no solution to this problem.
Hi, Just bought my first samsung watch, Active 2. Have had to install and pair several times and it dissconnects up to 100 times a day!! Very frustrating.. please help. I have followed all the regular help steps. Need to fix or this watch is unwearable!

Can I please have the full model number, software version, Bluetooth or LTE for your watch? Can I please have the Android version on your phone? Have you tried resetting the network settings? Just a heads up, by resetting the network settings, it will remove all wi-fi and Bluetooth settings you currently have saved.

I have the bluetooth version . My phone is a huawei P30 lite model MAR-LX1A. Android vrsion 10. Let me know if you need anything else. I'm sure it is just a small issue but I can't fix and can't seek help assistance anywhere else! It is soooooo frustrating, especially during lock down!

I also have this problem and it has now got to the stage where I have to open the wear app on my phone and manually click the connect button to get it to connect.
I'm also finding the battery drains very fast, I am assuming because it is connecting and disconnecting so frequently.
I am on the verge of returning it as the main reason I purchased a Samsung is to receive and reply to notifications.
I also find it extremely frustrating that ING bank cannot be used with the pay feature.
is there a fix for this.?
it's so annyoing that the watch is keep disconnecting from phone.. i'm at a point where i just want to return this watch..it's of no use for me as i can't answer phone calls or get notifications on this active 2 watch.

I have just bought my watch yesterday and encountered the same problem, my galaxy watch active 2 would constantly disconnect from my phone (I have the Bluetooth version). After some research and figuring out I have found solution to my problem.
Besides giving Galaxy wearable app all permissions for battery usage and giving it authorisations to run in the background I also did this for the watch active2 plugin.
Go to settings on your phone and then go to apps and once you have the list of all your apps on the screen, tap on the three dots in the upper right corner and select show system processes. Next step is to find watch active2 plugin on the list and tap on it, then go to power usage details and tap on the "app launch". Then turn of "manage automatically" function and turn on all of the other three functions. Then repeat the process for the Galaxy wearable app.
