Samsung Galaxy Sport Black Screen

Purchased Samsung Galaxy Sport on samsung.com with my Note 10+ and Galaxy Buds. On orders it shows return on Note 10+ and buds but does not have the option to return the Sport. Delivered August 22, 2019 now 4 or so days ago screen won't turn on. Just black. Gear app shows charging and at 100% but will not turn on. Used app to adjust brightness, nothing. Rebooted on charger like others suggested, nothing. Tried a hard reset by pushing both buttons as others suggested for several minutes, nothing. Reset to factory from app, nothing. I'm at a loss. Not sure what else to do. Upon searching for this has a lot of people complaining about same issue with no fix. Did last update break it?

I have a Galaxy S2 that the last update made the battery last less than 4 hours, battery at 100% on charger then take off will drop to 40% or 0% or something! Need this fixed. Screenshot_20190918-154957_Gear S PlugIn.jpg

Link did not help. Watch is powered on and connected to phone as seen in the picture. Screen is black. Can't see anything on screen of watch. Vibrates too.. But SCREEN IS BLACK! Reboots, resets does nothing to help!

Contacted Samsung in chat and sent off to be repaired. Gonna see what happens next. Cant get to the repair status that it links to, does not show anything about my repair. So wait for next email.
