Galaxy WatchGood day,
After the recent update on my Samsung Watch 5 Pro For some reason it is not recording my full swim workout. It stops at about the twenty minute mark. Even though the water lock is still on, I have to push and hold the button to take the water lock off, but the swim session itself has disappeared.
Does anyone have a solution for this? I factory reset my watch last week but it's still doing the same thing this week.

Galaxy WatchDo you have a target set and have the workout set to stop when target is reached? Go to the exercise tile on the watch, rotate to the swim workout, tap the settings gear and check to see if pause workout when target is reached is on. You can also do this in the health app on the phone. In any case, the part of the workout that was recorded should appear in the health app.

Galaxy WatchHi, thanks for the comments. it's set to no target. What I'm going try is set it to an hour and a half target and see if it records the whole session. If that works, then I might set it back to no-target and see what happens there, because the sessions are never exactly an hour and a half.

Galaxy WatchI have mine set for a 45 minute target, but I have pause workout when target reached set to off. I get a slightly stronger vibration to let me know when my target has been reached, but it does not pause or stop the workout.

Galaxy WatchI tried that, unfortunately it didn't work, it shut down the swim session after eight minutes and twenty three seconds. It's very weird, even though the water lock is on I can still manoeuvre on the screen. It seems somehow the water is switching it off, but the waterlock is still on at the end.
I had it set to keep the screen active, I'm going try tonight with changing that setting.

Galaxy WatchIf it happens again, put in an error report. I don't have the keep screen on setting on, but I understand it has helped some people keep their workouts active. Fortunately for me, my workouts get recorded in full. Is your watch tight enough? Water lock will always stay on once activated until you manually turn it off.

Galaxy WatchI have been swimming with this watch almost daily for about two and a half years now and it's never given me an issue. It's only recently it started doing this. Do you know how I can log an error report? Thanks for all your help, really appreciate it.

Galaxy Watchhttps://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/How-to-Send-Feedback/ba-p/3001692
The watch logs are embedded in the phone log, so make sure to send the complete log (the log is collected automatically and it takes several minutes to upload once you send the report). You can also attach screen shots. If you don't already know how to take a screen shot on the watch, just press both buttons simultaneously on the screen you want to capture. The shots will appear in your gallery automatically.
The error report is best sent within 15 minutes of the error condition occurring.
