Samsung: You can use your watch to measure your sleep...if the watch will have enough battery to make it through a day.

I try to squeeze a 2 days battery out of my Ultra Watch. But, in the infinite wisdome if Samsung every now and then something happens (WiFi turns On by itself) and I lose battery after a day and few hours, always while at work or outside the house and the watch becomes useless.

I had something similar happen and it was so annoying ๐Ÿ˜… Turned out WiFi + background stuff was draining my battery. I turned off auto WiFi and limited some background apps and it got a lot better. Might be worth checking!

Although I don't believe anything is running in the background, but where is that located in the Watch? Wifi is always off

Thank you for reaching out. I can certainly understand your concern with the battery draining on your Galaxy watch Ultra. In order to see what apps are running in the background: Scroll up from the bottom to see your app list, tap the two gray dots at the top of the screen, and you can see all apps that are running on your watch. Also, if you swipe left to the end of your open apps, you can see all active background apps listed.

Thank you for your reply. However scrolling from the bottom I do not see 2 gray dots, whether using Grid or List view. Swiping left (where all tiles) didn't show me what apps are active!
However the I discovered that my WiFi toggle was On although I didn't even turn it on. Same problem again!!

Thank you for the additional information. So, do you notice a pattern when the Wi-Fi on the watch turns on?

Did this start after a recent update?

Have you tried resetting your watch and testing it without restoring from a backup to rule out any third party software? Give this link a try for steps to reset the watch: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10003368/

When you scroll up from the bottom do you see these circles at the top to tap on for your apps:

Those dots are not visible to me. I thought wifi was turning On after my watch restarted, lost battery or update. That isn't the case. It seems it could happen at anytime. Am lucky to be at home where it is connected to the wifi. Had I been at work where it doesn't connect to wifi, it would have killed the battery.
It has been happening for a good time now I can't tell if even rolling back an update will make sense. Might as well reformt

Unfortunately I didn't do that, although thought of it. I don't have time for now but if it will be able to reinstall everything without me having to spend time than I can do it. By the way, Raise to Wake up also is a problem, sometimes it work and a lot of other times it doesn't respond. There seems to be a problem with those watches. By the way how come I don't see the Dots you showed in the Screenshot?
