Samsung's announcement for watch 4 malfunction

Hey guys, I just found out that Samsung Korea(not US) made a new announcement regarding the 'power not turning on' issue after the recent update(VI3).

According to the announcement, Samsung admitted that there were some problem with the recent update and decided to offer free repair for eleigible devices.

However, unlike Samsung Korea, I could not find any announcement made by Samsung US so if you can find one or some response from Samsung US, please share.

I share the anouncement by Samsung Korea in case anyone needs it.

This sounds ridiculous on Samsung's part they need to make the repairs for free.

I'm on the phone with Samsung now and they want me to pay for this issue because I'm out of warranty. They're claiming there's no proof Samsung created this issue and that I need to pay for an evaluation.

Same boat.  My GW4 Classic wont power back on after I restarted it after the update last night.  Step up Samsung!  I know that other company would take care  their customers.

As far as I understand, there is an update out in some markets, but not everywhere, unless it has changed by now.

Unfortunately, an update is useless to anyone who already has a bricked watch (and that includes me), but thanks for letting us know!

Samsung is aware that a limited number of Galaxy Watch4 series Bluetooth models are not turning on following a recent software (VI3) update. Samsung watches are a bust. Watch went out did not come back on and now was told by repair shop watch is not repairable. Don't waste your time on a Samsung watch
