Galaxy WatchI just bought the new 42mm Samsung Watch and paired it with my Galaxy Note 8. I was receiving all of my notifications (email, text, calls etc) but now all of the sudden I'm no longer receiving text notifications on the watch anymore. I've deleted the Samsung app and reinstalled. I've reset my watch which helped for the first few text alerts but now it isnt working again and I haven't changed anything. Please help!

Galaxy WatchHi, hopefully this helps some in the future. I had this issue, and I figured out that it was my notifications settings. I was using Textra, but my notifications were only pushing for the original messaging app.
I went to Galaxy Wearables app on my phone > notifications > Manage Notifications... And I selected Textra, my current SMS/MMS app. Do this for want other apps you might want notifications from.

Galaxy WatchSo this did not work, but what DID work was doing a factory reset on the watch. I was receiving all notifications (pretty sure) except for text messages, which was super annoying. Doing the hard reset worked like a charm. First text came right through to the watch. On the watch, go to settings > general > reset. Hope this helps others having the same issue! 😁

Galaxy WatchHi
This worked for mi on Xiaomi and Android 10:
After installation of galaxy wearable goto notification Access enable galaxy wearable, then disable it, restart the phone, again goto notification Access enable galaxy wearable.
That's it.

Galaxy WatchI have a Samsung Gear fit2 pro which worked fine with my phone receiving text messages for 3 years, until about 3-4 weeks ago when the watch rebooted and then nothing. So I have tried this twice and it did not work. I have rebooted the phone, and factory reset the watch several times. I get every other possible message, hangouts, fb messenger, date notifications, health etc. But my actual "Google messages texting app" that came on the android phone, no longer shows up on my watch as it use to. I recently had connected my phone to the web app so that the messages show up on my computer. But I still think I received messages on all of them (computer, watch and phone) for at least a week before they quit showing up on the watch. Any other ideas. Frankly watch is worthless if it doesn't receive texts, and now UA Record is no longer supported. I have read through other possible solutions and none of them seem to be the issue either.

Galaxy WatchSamsung Chat is the worst. I am so tired of trying to get help and especially speak with someone who knows what they are doing. I have tried all possible fixes in this strand. Rebooted 3 times. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Still the texting app is not working. And all the others do.

Galaxy WatchHappening to me too - been like 3 weeks. So frustrating. I really don't want to have to reset everything, especially since it doesn't seem to fix the issue.
Text sync is more important to me than email sync ;-(

Galaxy WatchI have solved this issue.!!!
When your phone and watch are connected via Bluetooth, to ensure your watch will connect to your phone remotely when the Bluetooth signal is too far away....the phone MUST be connected to your mobile carrier data NOT via wifi.
It's a bit painful and not ideal. You will then notice in your wearable app....instead of the app and the watch saying 'connected via Bluetooth ' it will now say....(on watch at bottom when u swipe down from top of screen) connected remotely....to your carrier. On the phone in the wearable app it will say "Remotely connected to watch"
The key is to have phone wifi turned off on phone when the watch and phone disengage from each other.
I hope this helps for you!! Good luck

Galaxy WatchIf your like me and leased your watch from phone company.
Factory reset your watch
Go through the process of connecting your phone to your watch
Make sure you have the galaxy watch3 pluggin app installed on your phone from google play. This app is seperate from galaxy wearable app. And that it has permissions to on all functions
Now that you have notifactions turned on you can now disconnect your bluetooth from phone
Notifications will now appear on your watch via cellular data
Important note. CELL PHONE MUST STAY ON AT ALL TIMES FOR NOTIFACTIONS TO APPEAR ON WATCH.
Even if you decide to just take your watch to work and use it as a phone you can leave your phone at home on the charger but must be turned on
