Should I get the Galaxy watch 8 or wait for the 9 to release?

I just bought my s26 Ultra and wanted a watch to go with it, any tips on which to choose?

If you can hold off, I would. If not, the GW8 is great and will serve you well. My GW7 is still kicking and performs as expected.

As the release gets closer for Watch 9, you may find some wicked deals on a Watch 8 as stores try to sell off stock in preparation for the new models. I'd hold off for a month or two and see what pans out.

I should also add that I'm extremely happy with my Watch 8 Classic! Hindsight being what it is, I should have opted for the Ultra, but I'm not beating myself up for it. The Classic has been an awesome watch.
