Ever since this last update, my wearable app has stopped working and I get no notifications on my watch! It's super annoying. Any tips?

Which watch?  Which messaging app?

Samsung messages is no longer available as a companion app for the watch but you should still be getting the notifications, it would just come through Google Messages (unless you didn't turn on notifications for Google Messages to the watch) and be able to be answered through Google Messages.  The messages will show up in either app, so if you choose not to switch from Samsung on your phone, you can still use the app.  If the Samsung Messages app has not been removed from your watch, you will have to make it the default messaging app.  If you had the WearOS5.0/OneUI6.0 update, it may have been removed and cannot be redownloaded to the watch.  If your phone updated to the new UI, you may have to go to the watch settings to make sure your app notification preferences have not been changed.

Is it just the messaging app you are not getting notifications for?

Maybe it's time to upgrade from S22?? My wearable app doesn't connect to my Bud3 Pros since the last update. Tried everything and it's still not working. My ear buds sound like trash and can't get into settings..

Same here.  Been farting around with this for a week now. I had notifications for all apps except Google Messages.  I did EVERYTHING SUGGESTED ON VARIOUS FORUMS EXCEPT resetting the phone.  I finally stumbled on the answer for my setup (S22Ultra / Galaxy Watch 5):  In the Galaxy Wearables App Under Notifications/App Notifications choose Google Messages (or the other message app).  When you choose it,  "Allow Notifications" should be toggled on.   But make sure "Custom watch notification style" is toggled OFF.  this was toggled on for my by default. Once I toggled it off, I got the notifications on the watch.

Since the dumb update that was done on my S23 I can no longer receive text notifications on my watch (series 5). I have tried everything. I deleted the app and reinstalled, I deleted the cashe on my phone and watch,I made sure the notifications was on for everything. Over the past 2 days I have talked to Samsung and they have no answer for me. Everything was fine until the update!

The one that was already on the phone. Not sure what it's called.
