Galaxy WatchI have had my Galaxy Watch 6 Pro for about a month. Generally pleased but frustrating myself over the "more sleep records needed" in order to discover my "sleep animal." I had this with my Fitbit Charge 5 (premium subscription) and was excited that it was included with the Galaxy watch.
Unfortunately, assuming I am doing it correctly it records "sleep consistency." I have set bedtime and wakeup times, changed them for weekends (and lost some of the previous records), number of nights needed changes (went from 1 night needed to 3 nights needed), so I've given up.
How many people REALLY have that level of sleep consistency? Stay up a little later for a TV show or it's the weekend and I'm sleeping in.
Maybe I'm missing something. I've attached a photo and during that time period I made myself go to bed at the same time, got up at the same time (although may have stayed in bed until the watch alarm went off), modified the time for the weekend, etc.
Suggestions or is this something that needs to be more like Fitbit?
Thanks,
Ed

Galaxy WatchAfter many years with Fitbit (dating to Charge 3) I switched to the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. Fitbit (5) automatically determined sleep patterns and assigned a "sleep animal" (with Premium). Using Sleep tracking with Watch 6 Classic seems convoluted. That is, to get an "animal" one needs 7 consective nights that are in range of the "normal" got to be at 8:30 p.m. and get up before 1:30 p.m. the next day.
I don't know about the rest of you but my sleep cycles are different. For example, during the week I will go to bed around 5:30 or 6:00 p.m. CDT and then get up between 1 and 3:00 a.m. in order to work without interruptions, distractions, etc. HIGHLY productive. On weekends, I go to bed later and get up later. Also, on vacations I am more "normal" going to bed between 9 and 11 p.m. and getting up whenever I wake or want to.
Development people: Copy Fitbit and make it easier!
And, I have yet to find out what my sleep score means. Normally I am getting "good" scores and last night got an "excellent" (87). But what in the world does that really mean? Maybe I missed it but would like to have a description of what the various scores me.
Thanks,
Ed
