My husband's smartwatch 4 is overheating several times a day. Only 3 weeks old. Any resolution for this? So disappointed in this purchase. Should have stuck with the FitBit. AT&T says I have to take it to Samsung store. Over an hour away. Do I have any other options? At this point, I'm ready to just take it to AT&T and tell them to keep the stupid thing.

I  understand how upsetting this is. Have you tried performing a reset on the watch? https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00084702/ Also check to see if the software is up to date. If the watch is still overheating, then it would be recommended to have the watch evaluated by a certified technician. You could also contact your place of purchase to see what options they may have available. If you wish to set your device up for service, please feel free to reach out to us directly via one of the following options and include a link to this thread.

Warranty replacement for my active 2 watch after less than a month old is doing the same thing. My 1st watch (active 2, new from Samsung) would overheat every time I wore it with the health running app (app was already on the watch) operating. It didn't matter how warm or cold it was outside the warning would come up within the first 2 min and shut the watch down.

Samsung/ t mobile team utilized the Warranty on the less than 4 week old watch and I activated my new active 2 when it came in.

First time attempting to go run, and same issue. What the heck? Several hundred dollars for a watch that I can't use? Resetting does nothing. Unpairing and re pair nothing.

Any ideas before filing a complaint?
