So I saw on sammobile that they posted the galaxy watch 6 or classic got a firmware update but when I check either my watch or the wear app it says it's been updated but it's from 2024 so I mean if it's out then why can't I get or unless it's for unlocked first???

It is always released in Korea first.
I presume Bluetooth models first they come OTA from Samsung, then LTE from your carrier!

The BT. Some states have it, and some do not. Not sure why
