I climb the stairs in my home daily, sometimes six in a day just doing housework, but I never get more than 3 stairs counted. Is there a maximum number of individual stairs to climb to count as a single climb?

I don't believe there's a maximum, though I don't use my Watch 6C for activity measurement. In the Wear app, I couldn't find stairs as a workout option, though maybe I missed it. Do you wear your watch sufficiently snug on your wrist? Has this inconsistency in counting stairs always been the case, or is it a recent development?

Yes I wear it tight but fitted daily and I have had two years and only 13 total steps.

confirming: you don't have a complaint with the steps counter. your frustration is with the flights of stairs you climb vs what is recorded, yes?

In the nether reaches of my brain I vaguely remember something about needing 10' of difference or something like that for stairs to register. Couldn't tell you where to find it. Think it goes back to my Active2.
