Step accuracy Galaxy Watch 3 vs Galaxy Active 2

Hi

I'm a bit puzzled about the accuracy of step count on my Galaxy Watch 3 vs my wifes Galaxy Active 2.

When we're out walking I always get much more steps.

So to check she today put on both watches and went out for a short walk. Here Active 2 on the left wrist and my 3 on the right.

My watch logged over 8% more step than here, 1307 vs 1207. And no she didn't just rotate left ;)

Is this something we have to live with or is there any way to calibrate the watches?

Having the same issue. My watch 3 averages 1000 to 3000 more steps than any of my other devices. Isn't it the same software as the active 2? Why such a descrepancy in the 2 platforms?
