Greetings all. So I recently purchased a Galaxy watch 3 a couple of weeks ago and really like it. I have a Note 10+ as well. The step counter was working well until a few days ago. I noticed that it seemed quite a bit higher than what I was actually doing. I noticed this morning that it showed almost 500 steps taken when I woke up even though the watch had been on my nightstand charging all night and had not been moved. Right now it indicates I've taken over 2000 steps. My Samsung health app on my Note shows 1035, which is likely far closer to accurate. As noted, this seems to have happened fairly recently so I'm not sure if it's a software update issue or what. Is there a way to "reset" the step counter or adjust it's accuracy? I did a hard reset yesterday for something else and the issue persists, so that's not it. Any feedback would be most appreciated. Thanks!
Typically, you would be more likely to see an inaccurate step count when wearing the watch. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01003112/#inaccurate-step-factors-on-your-sams...
If the watch is still not recording an accurate step count after the reset, service would be recommended. Please send a private message with the full model code and the serial number or IMEI number of the watch. http://bit.ly/2XERsky

My husband's watch is having the same issue. At midnight it resets then adds over 4000 steps. On the app underneath the total count shows steps already taken in the future (hopefully that makes sense)
