Hello,

Supposedly, two watches should be able to autoconnect and sync. I have been using the ultra, set up the watch 8 classic on the same phone. It worked the first time.

But now, the ultra shows as being paired with a different phone and asking me to set up/transfer again????

Has anyone successfully switched between the two watches with the same account?

Thx

@z12 I switch between the Galaxy Ultra Watch (2024) and Galaxy Watch 7 about every 2 days. When one needs charging, I swap to the other. No issues, switches easily with no action on my part.

In the Wearable app, click the floating icon with 4 squares, click the 3 dots menu on right, select Settings, select Auto switch and make sure that it is on.

@z12 Turned on, yes.

I take one watch off my arm and put it on the charger. I verify that charging has started.

Then I take the other watch off the other charger and put it on my arm. In less than a minute (probably about 20 seconds) the watch is connected and has the latest info from my phone.

Afer I restored the ultra, ther wear app lost the classic8 and wants me to add it again. The watch classic8 will not allow me to transfer, only wants me to reset

@z12 I would try wiping the device cache. It wipes out incompatible or outdated cache information. It does not erase any user data nor applications.

To wipe the device cache partition:

1. Power off your device.
2. Power up while holding down the Volume up key and the Side key until the Samsung logo appears.
3. An Android recovery menu will appear.
4. Use the Volume down key to scroll down to Wipe cache partition.
5. Click the side key to select it.
6. Use the Volume down key to scroll down to Yes.
7. Click the side key to select it. The Cache will be wiped almost instantaneously.
8. Click the side key to select "Reboot system now"

If that doesn't resolve it, I would try resetting both watches. You can make sure you have a backup from a watch before you do it. Then you can restore the backup to both watches.

Are you still having issues? I have an Ultra and 8C as well and I switch easily between the two. I do sometimes have to switch it manually in the app though.

If you have LTE connections turned on for both, that could be causing the issue. I'm not sure what the fix is for that.

A possible fix, if no LTE is involved is to clear cache partition on the phone and then re-pairing the two watches.
