Galaxy WatchThe watch 4 is the oldest watch still being supported. It may be the cheapest if you can find a used one. Personally, I loved the watch 4, but I would not buy a used one and would not buy one now even if it was "new" simply because the battery is 5 years old (introduced in 2021). All the classic watches, when new, are basically in the same price range - more for LTE versions (not including the phone line), and less for the BT model - still over $230. The 5 & 6 you may be able to find "new" in box at a discounted price (because they are not the latest models). If you are not averse to paying for an accessory line for an LTE watch, your carrier may offer a free one with a new line of service - after 24 months, you can usually drop the accessory line and just use an LTE watch as BT only. The cost of the accessory line just about equals the cost of the watch if you were paying it over time.
Just incidentally, June is coming - there will be Fathers' Day sales, and personal electronics are popular gift categories for dads, so they will be on sale.
