Galaxy WatchI upgraded from the Gear S2 to the Galaxy Watch and I truly love the watch. But there is an app on the S2 that I used all of the time, but it is not on the Galaxy Watch. It is the timer app. I used it when cooking and also the stop watch. I can't believe that such a useful little app was removed from the Galaxy Watch. Also, you advertise the watch as being connected to Samsung SmartThings. However, there is no app on the watch or in the Samsung Apps that allows me to control my SmartThings.

Galaxy WatchTimer and stopwatch apps are on their app store, via the Galaxy Wearable app. I'm missing Email and Messages, even though I can reply to any notifications that come in (but that might be because I'm linking my watch to an LG Phone and not a Samsung.

Galaxy WatchI have the same issue with my LG phone, but I found a solution. Make sure you phone is not in silent mode. After I turn silent mode off everything is working fine.

Galaxy WatchYou say there's a Stopwatch app available from Samsung (or anyone) via the Galaxy Wearable app. We'd all greatly appreciate you telling us the name(s) of them to aid us in the search. Personally, I have searched endlessly and found none.
Thanks in advance!

If you go into the Galaxy app store and click on watch, you will find an app called "Timer" that is developed for the watch.
An Alternative Solution has also been posted by @userjutMuTRH0n :
"You can install the Timer from here
http://apps.samsung.com/gear/appDetail.as?appId=com.samsung.timer-wc1"

Hello, why there is no more Samsung Timer (Time countdown) application?
I connected Gear S3 Frontier with the new phone, Gear resets itself, and then I lost timer app. I looked for it into store, but there is none.
It is ridiculous that there is no such app by default (there are some awful 3rd party apps), when even 5 USD palstic watches have timers.
I am very frustrated with this. Please bring back timer application.

Galaxy WatchI am in the Samsung Galaxy Store - on the 'Watch' section right now.
THERE is NO Samsung TIMER!!!
There is 'Alarm' and 'Stopwatch' and 'Samsung Flow' etc etc
When I use 'Hi Bixby' to set a timer it tells me to "Install Timer on Gear and then try again" it then launches a broken link on my phone the redirects me the Galaxy app store with this error message:
Notifications
This app is no longer available (2290:4002:290fb28e174)
Kindly assist by escalating this problem as it is really spoiling my Galaxy Watch experience which results in a poor review
