Timer App missing from Galaxy Watch

I upgraded from the Gear S2 to the Galaxy Watch and I truly love the watch. But there is an app on the S2 that I used all of the time, but it is not on the Galaxy Watch. It is the timer app. I used it when cooking and also the stop watch. I can't believe that such a useful little app was removed from the Galaxy Watch. Also, you advertise the watch as being connected to Samsung SmartThings. However, there is no app on the watch or in the Samsung Apps that allows me to control my SmartThings.

This is not correct. There is NO Samsung Timer App in Galaxy app store! Checked it few minutes ago.

Beware of link above - it automatically charged £5.99 without any warning of the cost! Timer which should have been a stock item cost more than the satnav!

In my case the app was there but didn't show time.    I went into the apps section in the samsung wearable app on my phone and uninstalled and re-installed the app.  What I did notice is the icon changed from blue to purple...so that can be an indicator that your app is successfully updated.

I'm not sure if you realised this but that timer app is the same as the alarm widget. We need a do it all stopwatch widget! 

Simply the most useful thing to have on a watch and you forgot it haha...

Also is there a way to access the apps from your watch because atm if I download an app it just says "look at watch" then disappears after..🤷‍:male_sign:

No nothing wrong with your phone it's just a piece of rubbish Samsung watch that doesn't work properly heart rate doesn't work no stopwatch no timer for the money they ask you better off spending it on another brand

it took me  a few minutes to remember, you have to grab timer from the store as noted by the other reply

Same problem here. I use galaxy watch and also changed my phone from Oppo into Samsung but there was timer when I'm using Oppo but there isn't in Samsung. This is silly. I'm still trying to find it everyday on galaxy apps.

GalaxyApps - Search for Timer - change from 'Watch faces' to 'Apps' (just under the search field).

March 2019, there is no Samsung timer app in galaxy store. Was my most used app on frontier, and I miss it.
