I upgraded from the Gear S2 to the Galaxy Watch and I truly love the watch. But there is an app on the S2 that I used all of the time, but it is not on the Galaxy Watch. It is the timer app. I used it when cooking and also the stop watch. I can't believe that such a useful little app was removed from the Galaxy Watch. Also, you advertise the watch as being connected to Samsung SmartThings. However, there is no app on the watch or in the Samsung Apps that allows me to control my SmartThings.
@SamsungAdam Same for me, no timer in the galaxy store, and if I open a direct link to the app, it says app is no longer available. It's a 2 month old thread, so could you please confirm that the issue is at least acknowledged?
@SamsungAdam This is NOT a solution. The app is NOT there. From another article I found what I believe to be the URL to the app in the Galaxy Store and it replies that the app is not available anymore.
This was very much used and needs to return to the app store ASAP. Please let me know when it will be back.
No the app is missing I did have this app until I changed to the new S10+ phone and had to resync my gear watch. The apps all disappeared and my watch faces. There was no backup. The Samsung Timer which I used everyday is missing and it really annoys me. It was so good. Please get someone at Samsung to make a standard app for the watch.
