Galaxy WatchAt least, that is what appears to be happening. I have two Watch5 Pro, both running the latest software, and both appear to have the same problem when Raise Wrist to Wake is off.
Typically, I have the feature off because I don't need it. I get enough cursed work emails that I'm always checking my screen. Previously, I noticed that if I didn't receive a message for a long period of time, then the Always on Display wouldn't update with the current time. However, it would happen once every few days. I always assumed it was a way to save battery life, and it didn't happen often enough for me to care.
But since the latest update, it can happen multiple times in an hour. And now messages will just linger on the screen for minutes. There have been times when I've seen a message on my watch, replied on my phone, but the watch will continue to show the message. Often, I would just manually dismiss the message my self.
Then I turned Raise Wrist to Wake on and the problems seemingly went away. Plus, I haven't noticed an issue of messages lingering on the screen. Maybe that's just a coincidence, but so far, turning Wake off has made the watch unreliable. Perhaps this is something that can be looked at and addressed in the next update.

Galaxy Watch@HeyCori Are you using a 3rd party watch face? It is possible that it needs an update after the last watch update. Or it could have a bug and not be completely compatible with the last watch update.

Galaxy WatchI'm using the Digital Dashboard watch face. I can't seem to find anything that would indicate a version number for the watch face itself.
