Galaxy WatchThat's a Google mandate. The developer of Watchmaker has to make their faces compatible with Google's new design language. Go yell at Google.

Galaxy WatchSee the above responses. Your watch face became incompatible with the updated design language, now all third party face designers have to update to the WearOS design language mandated by Google. Find another face, or get on the case of the designer of your beloved watch face and have them update it. During every update, some faces become incompatible and either have to be replaced or updated.

Galaxy WatchThe watch facer is a third party app and it is up to them to update their app to make the faces compatible with the new programming language. As with every update, some elements that were fine before become incompatible with the new interface. Since all watch faces (even the stock Samsung ones) are designed by third parties, it's up to those third parties to make them compatible. The issue with the watch faces this go round has more to do with the design language of Google's WearOS 6.0 which made many customizable faces incompatible. All new watch face designers must update their faces to be compatible with the design language. This is not Samsung's doing. It's Google's - go yell at them.
Personally, I think the new design of the watch is rather elegant, but I am only one person and you are only one person, so in the scheme of things our individual voices do not count, our our personal views contradict each others'.
You own the hardware, the software belongs to Google and Samsung and you acknowledged and agreed to the Terms of Service and License agreements, which gives both entities the right to modify their software any way they see fit.
