Good job Samsung , you have gained a new enemy for ruining the watches....i absolutely hate everything about the new UI 8 update , it made the Facer Watchfaces completely unusable and the whole entire look of the interface sucks it's like a child designed it , my Watch 5 looks TERRIBLE now i don't like the new update at all.
EDIT: i have found a fix for the Facer Watchface app on the watches, i had to clear the cache data in both the phone app and on my watch then uninstall it from my watch and reinstall it and let it do a small update and that solved the issue now im able to use Facer again on my watch. Although i hate the look of the One UI 8 update i guess i can handle it since i have Facer back again because i can at least use a watchface that looks good unlike the hideous interface that is now on it from UI 8.

Watchmaker conversion to be compatible with the new Google studio is pathetic, not to mention they block good tools be used ( like Dante63 SHM)

That's a Google mandate.  The developer of Watchmaker has to make their faces compatible with Google's new design language.  Go yell at Google.

Yes i noticed my watch face I love went poof and facer was nowhere to be found. I am not able to add it to wearable again. I do have it installed on the phone and the watch but not in the wearable app. Somehow I was able to get my watchface back but cannot explain how I was able to do it. It seems the watchface itself was actually uploaded directly to wearable and it now shows on the watch when selected.

See the above responses.  Your watch face became incompatible with the updated design language, now all third party face designers have to update to the WearOS design language mandated by Google.  Find another face, or get on the case of the designer of your beloved watch face and have them update it.  During every update, some faces become incompatible and either have to be replaced or updated.

I just figured out how to fix it , if you uninstall it from your watch after clearing the Cache Data then reinstall it and it will fix the problem , i messed with it for a half hour before i was able to get it to work again now im happy

The watch facer is a third party app and it is up to them to update their app to make the faces compatible with the new programming language.  As with every update, some elements that were fine before become incompatible with the new interface.  Since all watch faces (even the stock Samsung ones) are designed by third parties, it's up to those third parties to make them compatible.  The issue with the watch faces this go round has more to do with the design language of Google's WearOS 6.0 which made many customizable faces incompatible.  All new watch face designers must update their faces to be compatible with the design language.  This is not Samsung's doing.  It's Google's - go yell at them.

Personally, I think the new design of the watch is rather elegant, but I am only one person and you are only one person, so in the scheme of things our individual voices do not count, our our personal views contradict each others'.

You own the hardware, the software belongs to Google and Samsung and you acknowledged and agreed to the Terms of Service and License agreements, which gives both entities the right to modify their software any way they see fit.

I fixed it ๐Ÿ˜Š , i had to clear the cache data then uninstall it from my watch and reinstall it so it would work again , i think there was a bug in the app that caused it to not work with the UI 8 update

So is Facer working again for you or just the individual watchface that you placed on your app?
