Ultra Band tearing after just 4 months

Samsung refused warranty. My Galaxy Watch Ultra band is tearing after just 4 months, and this isn't even the only watch band I use. I honestly have worn it maybe a month. This is the one that came in the box, I don't even have a hard manual labor job, and am always very careful with the watch, it's honestly extremely unacceptable, especially since they charge $80 usd for them, and I'm not sure it'll last 6 months let alone a year. On a watch that is already $650 it's crazy 

The tear is on the inside (part that touches the wrist) of the watch band, so it's not like I tore it on something, because the outside is fine so far.

Anyone with similar problems? I'm honestly so annoyed they refused replacement, I'll just stick to Chinese/Amazon fakes if this is how they warranty their watch bands.

If you look on Amazon, you will find several third-party, reasonably priced watch bands for the Ultra watch. There is no reason to continue using your torn watchband.

1 month old & my Watch ultra strap has snapped where the band meets the buckle I am so upset & now quite angry i tool m watch off to charge & noticed some off but couldnt figure what when i went to put watch back on the buckle was "wonky" when i examined it you could see the end of the band that holds the buckle has split to say iam upset angry & frustrated is an understatement buckle had split one side contacted Samsung via FB messenger after good hour too'ing & fro'ing the give me an email adress so i emailed with pictues reciepts  & the watch details to get an email back basically saying THEY WILL NOT replace the strap but want me to send the whole watch back for examination!!! its a month old!!!!!!!s the

If its under warranty, the watch band submit a claim, if not buy one.

I contacted Samsung they want me to send the unit back to  EXAMINE the watch but told me They wont give a replacement !! I do not expect a Decent strap to break within 1 month under normal usage!! in my 50+ years of wearing a watch had not one failed within a month

I know it's irksome, but you can just buy a new band from Amazon.  You can buy a whole wardrobe of bands from Amazon for the price of one band from Samsung.

Same here, just tore under normal usage after about 6 months... where the band meets the buckle.  Obviosly a defect in the bands.  Pretty sad with all the people talking about it Samsung does not do anything in the way of a recall to prove to customers they have faith in their own products.  Probably my last Samsung product at that point if there is no attempt at making it right for their customers.  There are lots of other products to chose from these days that take a little pride in their products.
