Galaxy Watch

I have a Galaxy 5 Pro watch.  After an OS update to my phone (Pixel 9 Pro) today I lost connectivity to it.  The only thing that worked was resetting the watch.  Now, however, I can't restore my backup.  I can select the backup which takes me to a "Restoring your watch..." screen.  After a short time I get taken to a new screen that says "Couldn't restore data" and "The connection to your watch was lost.  Reconnect, then try again".

Looking for troubleshooting tips and how to resolve this.

Unless you have the switch on to also back up your watch to the Samsung cloud, the watch will backup only to the phone. Theoretically, the watch backup is stored with the phone backup, but you have a Pixel phone, so it probably was not saved in the Google backup. And the update may have corrupted the existing backup. If you have the watch backup set to also be in the Samsung cloud, you should be able to restore it.

The problem seems to lie, however in the connectivity between the watch and phone. Try uninstalling the Wear app and reinstalling it. Then try connecting your watch again.

Have you searched the store for "Galaxy Wearable"?  It's there when I search for it.
