I can't even find Samsung Messages on my Watch 4 Classic anymore. Not on the apps list, nor when choosing default apps. How can I get it back on my watch to begin with? Everything is updated on my phone and my watch.
Samsung messages, if available, would only be available in the Galaxy store. Since the Galaxy store is unavailable on watches using WearOS (4,5, 6 & 7), you will not be able to download Samsung Messages to the watch. You will have to use Google Messages on the watch. You can still use Samsung Messages on your phone, both apps will keep your messages. You can set the watch to receive notifications from Samsung Messages on the watch and you will be able to respond to them. If you want to initiate a text from your watch, you will have to do it through Google Messages. On the watch, there is absolutely no difference in features between the apps.
