WHY ARE WE REQUIRED TO RESET THE WATCH WHEN CHANGING DEVICES?

I've been using both the S22U and Z fold 4 back and forth. If I want to use the same watch 5 pro, I have to reset to change phones. WHY SAMSUNG CANT YOU SOFTWARE UPDATE GALAXY WEAR TO ALLOW SWITCHING BETWEEN DEVICES THAT ARE ALL ON SAME ACCOUNT AS THE WATCH? I can select which phone to connect my watch to, WHY NOT SELECT WHICH PHONE TO CONNECT WATCH TOO?

Is very frustrating! However, it is not a limitation of Android or your phones. It is however, a limitation of Wear OS... One that Wear OS should have outgrown several versions ago. Google is bombarded with complaints about this, hopefully it will be resolved in the next Wear OS upgrade.

It's a security feature since you can make payments via the Samsung Pay app on the watch. If your watch is stolen, they can't just connect it to their phone and go on a shopping spree on your dime.

That's bogus.. That statement can be said about our phones also.. And the current watch beta they have now included the feature to use multiple devices..

Our phones have security features also.

The Samsung Wallet app on our phones requires a security measure (fingerprint ID or such) to open the app and make a payment or to authorize a payment from the lock screen.

And the watch has security features . You have to set up the lock screen. Swipe or pin. So same has phones.

Agreed. Looks like they're allowing it in the coming update to the watch.

I disable all the pay wallet apps on all my devices. therefore, I am a safety function for my account, so for me I request the option to do that switch between devices listed on my Samsung account without reseting the watch.

Looks like the feature is coming, so that's some good news for those that want it. Will be nice for those that are required to carry a seperate company phone.

I just read article in Androidpit , UI 5 watch and WEAR OS 4.0 will allow switching between phones without need to hard reset, apps, faces, data all will be lossless transferred. YEAH!!!!
