Can anyone tell me if this Watch 4 will have the blood pressure feature in the near future in the U.S. like the older Galaxy watches already have? I just bought the Watch 4 with the understanding that it already does, yet it does not. Has it been already submitted for FDA approval? Is there an estimated timeframe for release? No one seems to know the answer or just wont say if they know. If not I need to return the watch to Samsung.

Actually, none of the Galaxy Watches in the US have the Blood Pressure feature. It has never been approved by the FDA.

Still waiting from last year when I bought the watch 3. That was the main feature I wanted. They advertised that it was available. Still waiting. Don't even wear it that much anymore.

It is easy to activate BP on the watch - including having the readings synced from Samsung Health Monitor to Samsung Health. It neither affects firmware nor requires unlocking bootloader or root. (BTW - BP is very accurate on the watch.)

I've included YouTube tutorial and XDA links below.
