Dear,

Since the update from wear 4.0 to 4.5 my watch is really struggling too find a GPS fix without being connected to my phone.

When i'm going for a run it never gets a GPS fix from the start (before the update to wear 4.5 it worked perfect).

situation: I'm running without my phone.
Area: open, city and open fields (located in the Netherlands, Rotterdam).

For example, today I went for a long run... the first 2.5KM i did not had a GPS fix.

Anyone here is facing this issue?

My watch4 also no longer gets a GPS signal after the last update. Unacceptable.

Same here. First, it missed a full mile, then it didn't map an entire 4 mile run and this morning it missed the first mile, all since that last update. I find myself now looking at Garmin alternatives (they take GPS pretty seriously, but SO expensive! Samsung is much better value until this last update messed it up), since I use the watch almost exclusively for fitness. In its defense, it still works great for indoor swimming, which previous versions were hit-and-miss on. This big step back in GPS tracking is a huge deal-breaker for me, though.

Hi men,

Yes indeed... i'm also using my watch for fitness purposes (and listening music while training - both running and being in the gym).

I hope they fix it soon as i'm a data junk (pace, HR and so....)
If not, i will have to switch to a Garmin watch

Thanks for sharing your feelings
