Can anyone advise me on how to calibrate my watch compass? I've watched videos about the figure 8 calibration but it appears to not work. My watch and samsung health exercise are wildly different from reality. Attached are a screenshot from the My Elevation app on my S10+ and a screenshot from my watch. Just so it's not coincidental and off by 100', right now my watch says 115'.

Thank you for reaching out. I can certainly understand the need to be able to calibrate your watch for the compass and altitude and I would be happy to look into this further for you. Just to clarify are these the steps you tried when calibrating your watch: https://www.samsung.com/levant/support/mobile-devices/galaxy-watch-compass-app-user-guide/

Yes, I've gone through the figure 8 multiple times. After doing it again, it currently shows me at -38 feet, and I don't think I'm under water right now.

Thank you for reaching out. I can certainly understand your concern with your compass app not calibrating, and I would be happy to assist you further. The first thing I would try is force stopping the compass app and then trying to recalibrate using the figure eight method. Go to the Wearables app > Watch Settings > Apps > Compass > Force stop > Recalibrate

If you have tried the troubleshooting steps provided above the next step would be to reset your watch. Please use these steps to properly reset your watch: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00084702/

If you have tried all the troubleshooting steps provided and are still experiencing these symptoms I would recommend a service repair.
