Watch 5 Pro Needs samsung email app.

I upgraded from s3 Frontier to Galaxy Watch 5 Pro and the only email app is outlook and it's not even usable on the Watch. I did have Samsung email app on my s3 Frontier and it worked and synced perfectly. Using outlook sucks. Also Samsung message app don't sync properly with phone and Watch. If I send a text from Watch away from phone. It won't show un the phone thread. Yet it's in the thread on Watch .

Your watch uses Google messages by default and that may be why it's not showing in Samsung messages on your phone. Both devices should be using the same app for ease of functionality.

I don't use Google messages I deleted it. Its both Samsung messages and it worked perfectly with the S3 Frontier , still does.
But the email app is a must have

I did some digging and it appears that, for now, the Samsung email app isn't compatible with Wear OS. Maybe in a future update! Or maybe they're going to slowly end the service.

Did your phone receive an update recently? If so, reboot into recovery mode, clear the cache (if the option is available), and reboot. LMK if this helps! GL! Not sure about Samsung email.

With Samsung email app. If I get a email I can reply from watch delete from watch etc. With outlook only. It's just a notification and you can't delete anything. If you try it says. "Open phone" like ope. The phone to do that. Thanks

I use the Samsung email app. You are correct, there is no companion app available for the Watch. However, I receive all the appropriate notifications, and you are able to interact from the watch. I just never do that.

It comes thru only as a notification . You can delete it, forward etc
