Galaxy WatchAll of a sudden, and for no reason I can determine, Google Play services is the top battery user on my watch. I frequently check my battery usage when I think there's a faster than normal battery drain, and I have never seen the Play Services at the top of my list. It seems to be using more than its previous average, although the battery drain does not yet appear to be significant. It's within a tolerance I can live with. Anyone have a clue what's going on here?

Galaxy WatchIt does not use that much on the phone - not even anywhere near the top of the list. Granted the phone battery is larger, so the percentage would be smaller. I just don't recall ever seeing it at the top of my list even when it's running in the background as one of those apps you can't close. It's not really draining my battery super fast, I'm still getting a day and a half (or would be if I didn't charge it every morning anyway as a matter of ritual) I just noticed a percentage or two off at a particular point in the day.

Galaxy WatchAs of right now 5.8% and, given today's light demand on the watch's resources, battery is at 66% where it would normally be around 72-75% at this time after 9.5 hours. Hold up, I just discovered that my BT was off for some reason and my watch has been remote connected via cloud services. that may account for it.

Galaxy WatchNow, I have to figure out how the BT got turned off, as it's never off. My watch did die shortly after I woke up this morning, so maybe that automatically turns BT off? It was not in power saving when I woke up, but the battery was low, but not low enough to trigger either power saving or a complete discharge in a minute and a half, though. I never even thought to check if the BT was on after the watch was charged and powered on.

Galaxy WatchWell, yesterday, before I went to bed my watch was a 37% battery and GPS was showing at 19% battery usage. I got home really late and did not have time to give it a 10 minute battery boost and woke up to 1% battery remaining (after only 5 hours). I truly do not know what's going on in the background there. I only know that if GPS was running in the background at any time in the past it was at the bottom of the battery usage list, not the top offender. I just put in an error report because as of right now (3:09 p.m.), after 5:27 off the charger, battery use for the app is at 6.3% and my battery is at 77% where it should be at 85%.

Galaxy WatchI did that the first time after the original post and it seem back to normal for a day but still at the top of the use list. I've since done it 3 times (at least) since then with no real improvement. But, I shouldn't have to keep clearing the cache (yes, I'm going to be one of those "I shouldn't have to" people, at least on this). ๐
