Watch 8 Classics (LTE) Problem

VERIZON Wireless was unable to activate LTE on my newly acquired Watch 8 classics. After 3 days of wasted hours, I called Samsung Executive Escalation Department and I was told that I either return the watch for a Bluetooth +WiFi, paying restocking free off 13 USD or sell it to Samsung at 50 USD.

I HAVE REPORTED TO BBB, and a host of agencies of government dealing with unfair trade practice. Has anyone experienced issues with LTE?

Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic may have trouble completing NumberShare activation due to several factors. These include issues with the watch's mobile network profile, compatibility issues with the phone or carrier, or problems with the NumberShare service itself.

Troubleshooting Steps:

1. Check Bluetooth Connection:

Ensure your phone and watch are connected via Bluetooth and through the Galaxy Wearable app.

2. Verify Mobile Network Activation:

If you're using an LTE model, verify the mobile network was activated with a QR code or through your carrier.

3. Check for Updates:

Ensure both your phone and the Galaxy Wearable app have the latest software updates.

4. Reinstall the Galaxy Wearable App:

Uninstall and reinstall the Galaxy Wearable app, then pair the watch again without restoring from a backup.

5. Contact your Carrier:

If the issue persists, contact your carrier (e.g., AT&T or Verizon) to troubleshoot NumberShare or obtain a new QR code.

Specific Scenarios:

New Phone or Account:

If you've switched phones or accounts, the watch may need to be reset or the mobile network profile may need to be re-established.

Compatibility Issues:

Ensure your phone and data plan are compatible with your watch model and NumberShare service.

Temporary Issues:

Be aware that Verizon, for example, has experienced temporary issues associating products with accounts.

The carrier Verizon told me it's incompatible with Verizon network and watch eight.

I even bought a separate watch and you still have the same problem

Thank you for this elaborate explanation. 1st, it was a new phone, Fold 7 and Watch 8 classics, so there is no compatibility issues. Since it was a new phone, a great number of troubleshooting tips here have been eliminated. Verizon was originally trying to transfer my old number from 2024 Ultra LTE but when number share issue emerged, they tried assigning a new number but to no avail. Calling Samsung was a whole new level of disappointment for me. Samsung sold a watch that's not working as planned and was not ready to remedied the situation but asking me for more money.
