Galaxy WatchWhen I start a workout, or when a workout auto starts, I can't figure out how to stop it. I press the back button or the widgets button, but neither one stops the workout. Sometimes if I go to the widget and press the back button, it will give me the red "finish" option, but not reliably. If I push enough buttons long enough eventually I can get it to stop, but there must be some simple way to end the workout?

Galaxy WatchOK, I have done more research and it seems like you can't manually stop a workout that starts automatically, as I have been doing.
That seems pretty stupid to me, but there you have it. I will just have to always remember to start my walking exercise if I want to be able to pause and stop it when I choose.

Galaxy WatchHello,
Try fully backing up the watch and perform a reset to see if that helps any.
- From the watch screen, press the Home button to open the Apps screen.
- Double-tap the Settings icon.
- Tap General.
- Tap Reset.
- Tap the Checkmark icon. to confirm. If applicable, set up your device.

Galaxy WatchThank you for following up. Do have the workout screen up on your watch when you are experiencing these symptoms?

Galaxy WatchI allow the walking exercise to start automatically.
By the time I end the walk, the clock face has come on and the little green walking icon is at the bottom of the screen.
I can then click that icon to bring up the exercise, showing time, distance, etc. If I click the upper/home button, it takes me back to the clock but does not stop the exercise.
If I click the lower app button, it takes me to the app screen.
If I swipe right to the Health Widget, then click on "Walking," it starts a new walk.
The only way I have found to stop the walk is to do that, start a new walk, then click the home button and it allows me to stop that just begun walk.
Since I can get the red "Finish" button if I click the upper back button right after I start a new walk, I think that pressing that button should stop a walk that has been going for a while, but it does not, it simple returns me to the clock face with the green walking icon at the bottom.

Galaxy WatchNo, I haven't but I will try that. Since it does work to stop the workout if I click it right after the exercise starts, I won't be able to check to see if this works until I actually do another workout. But I will try it and let you know if it works. Thanks for trying to help me with this.
