Watch Left alert

Hi All, 

I often, in the morning when I wake up, take off my galaxy watch5 and put it on the charger to go on my way to freshening up and showering. Most of the times, when I am finished, I opten tend to forget to put the watch back on. is there a alerting/notification mechanism to remind me to put on my watch ? I know the reverse of this is possible where the watch alerts if the phone is left behind. but my usecase is different. any advise is appreciated.

I have not seen any way but you can write a note on the home screen wallpaper 🙂

I dont want to change my wall paper.. any other alternatives you can suggest ?

If you don't want to write anything on your wallpaper then you can create a new folder on the home screen and name it in a way which will remind you to wear your watch.

Yes, there is a way to alert you if your watch is left behind. If you go into your "SmartThings" app, look for your watch under "devices". Click on it and select "find device". When it shows the map of where your watch is (you may have to allow permissions), you then click on "more". Then turn on "notify if left behind", if it's not already on. This will alert you when it disconnects from the Bluetooth on your phone. Hope this helps you!

Thank you for the response.  but looks like this only tracks by the GPS co-ordinates, I am also talking about a notification about actually wearing the watch.

My thoughts were if you go out of range of the Bluetooth, it will alert you, on your phone, that the watch disconnected from the phone, thus reminding you to go put it on. Unless I misunderstood your question, isn't that what you were looking for?

I was looking for a feature where if the watch is not worn for a certain time ( 30m or 1hr or 2hr), the phone should remind me to wear it.

Ah, okay, then I'm not sure if they have that option...good luck though!
