I'm curious about why this watch, when I answer my phone and am talking on the phone switches to the watch? One minute I'm using the phone and then the next minute sound comes out of my watch and I have to switch the Pixel phone back to the phone's speaker. Why does this happen...if I answer on the phone the watch should leave the call alone, PERIOD end of story.
Oh and while I'm at it as a Pixel phone user and a Galaxy Watch 5 and 6 owner why is the Samsung Members app not compatible with my phone? Why can't we have the ability to report support issues with the app -- INSANE.
Certain new Samsung devices haven't been playing along nicely with non-Samsung phones lately. Honestly, there have been a range of other issues being reported too (mainly the inability to backup watch data). It's very frustrating. I expect patch incoming soon to fix these problems.
I've got that on the list too since I have a 5Pro and was flummoxed by the fact that I couldn't restore my Watch 5 backup to the new Watch 6. It wasn't even an option, which is different than when I set up the 5 I had the option to restore my watch 3 backup from years ago. Then we get Smart Switch forced on us and it too doesn't work well with the Pixel. I mean come on, it's not like a Google phone is foreign since the watch runs WearOS -- how hard could it be?
Add battery drain on the classic...had it off the charger for 5 hours and it's at 69% already, is this the Pixel watch? I guess I could report it, oh, snap, the Samsung Members app doesn't work on the Pixel phone either.
They better hurry, cuz I have the 5 on trade-in, and if an update doesn't come this 6 is going back and I'm keeping the 5.
