To make it short, I went in the pool with my watch with water lock and then went in the shower. My watch started a reboot loop in the shower and I dried it off. The buttons on the side wouldn't work and wouldn't charge, now I try to charge it while it's flat and it says it's overheating when it's cool. Please belp

throw it in a bowl with plain, white rice that's not cooked yet, fully buried, make sure its turned off. 24hrs. try it now though that should have been the first thing you did to it, or any electronic device water resistant or proof or not. after the day see if you still get that same message, if so either 1 more day, or get a can of compressed air and try to see if you can blow through/around the seems and buttons. you can go on line and search how to remove part of the cover to it so you can blow inside if you want to. if all else fails, stick back in the rice for a week for one last shot.
