Right now on wear OS, when you wear the watch you need to manually unlock the watch. It would be great if you unlock the watch (while you are wearing) when you unlock your phone rather than manually unlock it each time.

Yes. When you remove it and then put on your wrist. It would be nice if it can unlock with unlocking your galaxy device. You need to unlock the watch manually any time you remove it.
You have the Watch 6, correct? There might be something for this. On the watch, go to Settings>Security and privacy>all the way the bottom is Wrist detection. Toggle off.
Unfortunately, no they don't. 😞 I have it one my Watch 5 running the One UI Watch 5 beta, and the Watch 6 is running a stable version of the same OS. You may be able to get the beta on your Watch 4 through the Samsung Members app scrolling banner, but there is no guarantee this setting would do what you want to achieve. Right now, it doesn't keep my watch unlocked when I take it off. Not sure if that is a bug or not though. It says "The watch will not automatically lock" yet it still does.
For privacy reason...when u r not wearing the watch unlocking the watch is good idea. I mean it's a simple and convenient feature if you can unlock it with your phone while u r wearing and lock it automatically when it's not on the wrist.
