Why I cannot get messages

I cannot get messages on my Galaxy 4 watch can someone help all the notifications are on I just don't get my texts anybody else having problems

In your Galaxy Wear app, have you checked to see if Smart device selection is on? This may cause notifications to seem inconsistent since they won't deliver when the phone is in use.

Have you gone into Watch Settings to check if individual app notifications are turned on? After my most recent watch update, I noticed some apps had been unexpectedly been turned off and had to be toggled back on.

If you are using Google Messages, have you turned on "Text on Galaxy devices?"

I'm not using Google messages I am using Samsung messages and all of the message notifications are on just not receiving text messages

That's odd. Are your watch, phone, and wear app all up to date?

Very strange. Last ideas here:

- try turning on "Allow All" to see if this fixes anything.
- try clearing cache on the watch
- As a last resort, factory reset the watch.

@Lynnisa The GW 4 uses the Wear OS. I think if you want to see messages on your watch you will need to use Google messages on both the phone and watch.
